The Many Faces of Security Testing

Grand Rapids ISSA presents “The Many Faces of Security Testing” presented by Dr. Jared DeMott, Founder & CEO of VDA Labs.

What do you think of when you hear the word “Security Testing”? Compliance? Pentesting? InfoSec Maturity checks? Code auditing? Vulnerability Scanning? Business continuity testing? Red Teaming? IoT security? While any area of a project or organization can be audited, there is a common set of security reviews that make sense. In this talk we will expound upon the tools, techniques, and skills required to perform an excellent security check, across a wide domain of networks, devices, and code.
