Jorel will start us off with a layer 7 DDos attack and mitigation demonstration and then take us through a brief history of DDos attacks including some of which he has personally experienced on his own servers. He’ll then discuss the anatomy of a layer 3, 4 and 7 DDos attacks and guide us through a variety of DDoS mitigation techniques, services, technologies, and best practices.

At a high level, attendees will gain insight into common ATM architecture and security mechanisms. Building upon this knowledge, the talk will take a deeper dive into ATM drivers and software, and how they are exploited to turn ATMs into a slot machine that criminals hit the jackpot on with every pull.
